All high-quality wooden windows are identical and every low-quality one is ugly in its own way. A high-quality
wooden window is only made of three-layer beam, is coloured with or German or Finish paint, the accessories are German
and the compressors can only be... And so on.

Why all wooden windows differ in price and quality?

Firstly, the prices for good wooden windows are basically the same. The prime cost can't be lower than
$130-140 for square metre and the profit depends on how much a particular seller will raise. It is possible to get a lower prime cost at the
expense of using paint, wooden and accessories substitutes. Unfortunately, Russia is a country of fakes.
Secondly, in spite of theoretically equal quality of accessories, the quality of the final product can differ. It depends on the final step - manual
finishing and assembling. Expensive technologies and compound equipment can't substitute the stage of final polishing. Dealing with wood
reguires care, attention and thoroughness. In order to get silky-smooth wood surface you have got to have manual polishing again and again.
This means more expenditures and higher costs. A wooden window is a contradictory construction which comprises compound engineering
ideas for wood working (three-layer beam and a thought-out inner section of the sideview), chemistry (grounding and colouring), mechanics
(rotary-folding constructions of the accessories), thermal physics and so on, with some special features of wood that require skill and
experience. That's right, you have to love what you are doing. Otherwise you will get a gloomy and ugly "something" instead of nice,
well-done windows. We love what we are doing and it takes time to make good windows - the first frames were supplied only 12 years ago.
We keep an eye on novelties on window market, take part in different exhibitions. Our product has 3 international certificates and an officially registered trade mark.
What sets your wooden windows apart from other wooden
windows?
Our windows go through 5 (!) stages of manual polishing, we can offer our customers absolutely any colour for the
windows. Correspondence of the articles to the samples shown lets take into account every wish of the customer. The warranty period for
"D.O.M." windows is 3 years. Our standard wooden window is a window of 78-mm Angara pine which has rotary-folding accessories "Roto"
or "Maco", is coloured with "Zobel" paint and has a double-dazed window of 3 glasses (42 mm = 4-16-4-14-4). We can
guarantee our customers that our windows will protect their houses from foul weather, outside noise and, and last but not the least, serve for a long
time. Our first wooden windows have served for 12 years
already with the accordance with German standards and that is the reason why we are sure our customers won't find anything to worry
about.
You are talking about a standard wooden window. What other types of wooden windows are there?
Different types. Arched, trapezoid, windows of irregular shape,
some other types (for example, windows with wooden apportionment on glass or with metal apportionment inside of the double-dazed window).
We paint our windows in 2 different colours: one for outside view and the other for inside. We also make tinted and unbreakable glasses,
low current drain K-glasses and I-glasses...

How long does it take to make a wooden window?
About 3 weeks. If it is a rush order we can keep within
15-16 days, if it isn't it takes 50-60 days. In this case the price will surely be considerably lower.

Do you only make wooden windows of pine?

Our
standard wooden windows made of Angara pine are most expensive. Apart from these we offer windows of three-layer beam oak-pine-oak.
In our opinion wooden windows of just oak are rather expensive, rather cold and, unfortunately, too uncertain. Oak requires long natural drying
and rush electric drying often lets you down. A wooden window with the outside layer of oak and the inside of pine looks nice, is warm and
certainly less expensive than an oak one. We also offer a novelty that is going to be a hit on window market in a couple of years - "noble"
windows of larch.
What about mahogany?
To be honest, we are not sure of its quality. It looks
good but it is not suitable for our climate. It is a tropical tree, soft and friable. It is not suitable because of sudden changes of weather that we
have here in Russia.
But still ... ?
I think it would be discourteous to give our opinion
about somebody else's product. Why don't we talk instead about our wooden windows.

Not only painted wooden windows can be beautiful, but noble white
color as well. It can stress your conception in forming the interior.
