What’s the difference between these two brands?

There’s no any major difference, only a slight difference in the handle shape: some people think that “Maco” has more modern design. “Roto” locking clappers are flat, “Maco”’s – round. The accessories are covered with zinc, then are chromium plated and the last straw is special protective lacquer. It would be fair to mention that the “Roto” founder invented turning-folding accessories.
Since 1994 MACO has been the first certified producer of accessories in Europe. (Certificate of quality DIN ISO 9001).
MACO accessories quality is ratified by “Gosstandart Certificate of conformance”, “Conformance mark” and “License to use” of Russia.
MACO accessories are practically feasible and efficient because of their:
- standard pattern of drilling for loop groups and “scissors”;
- implanted blocking device of a wrong opening;
- wide stroke of pins;
- good adjustment of shears for arched and trapeziform window to the upper hinge pivot of standard “scissors”;
- universal joint MULTI and universal adjusting tongs, universal middle hinge pivots, general construction of the lock from the right side as well as from the left side and so on.

“Roto” and “Maco” accessories have 10 years’ warranty period including 8 openings a day.

What other types of window accessories are used?

“Siegenia” has a lower position in the “table of ranks”, but nothing bad can be said about it. “Winkhouse” accessories work even longer, but the price is much more expensive. These are all the brands worth mentioning.

Which one will you advise?

If the best brand had existed, all the others would have vanished. More conservative clients choose “Roto”, others, who want to keep up with the times, choose “Maco”. There’s no difference, it’s the matter of choice.

What colors are available?

All the colors, that are offered in the catalogues of these companies’ official dealers: “gold”, “bronze”, “brass”, “champagne” and the others. The choice of color usually takes place when making an order and depends on the design of the apartment or the house.

How do we care for the accessories?

A drop of sewing oil once in six months and adjustment when required. You can order adjustment in our company, and you can make the oiling yourself. Besides, the more you clean these elegant handles, the more they stress the beauty of the wooden window.
“D.O.M.” windows have 90 months’ warranty period.
