Quality control of installation at the site

“D.O.M.” windows differ from soviet “pieces of wood” as well as the covering differs from enamel and oil paint, which we are so used to. Two types of paints are used: paints that preserve wooden structure, and covering paints.

What does it mean?

“Zobel” water paints (Germany) are really unique! After the paint primer and painting the beauty of the wood becomes complete. But it’s not only that! “Zobel” also lets the wood “breathe”. The frame works as a natural filter – during 24 – 30 hours the air exchange between the dwelling and outdoors takes place through the wooden profile. “Zobel” is also remarkable because even after a strong blow the paint doesn’t chop off, but is only pressed in.

So there’s no need to take the brush and paint the windows yourself, is there?

Our first windows were installed more than 12 years ago and they still do not need new covering. Being used in unfavourable conditions (southern part, high gas pollution and so on) our windows first need painting in 10-11 years (in accordance with data, given by paints supplier.
The “D.O.M.” windows have 3 year guarantee.

What is there to be done if wooden windows were scratched or damaged?

The special repair set lets almost fully conceal any traces of damage. If it is very serious, we’ll have to take off the casement, take it to the factory and repair it. Such cases occur quite often and our clients do not have much trouble.

And what if in some period of time I’ll wish to paint my wooden windows into different color?

A wonderful question! This is one more advantage of wooden windows – when you are sick and tired of your furniture and surroundings, we’ll help you to change the color of the wooden windows – it’s not too difficult and expensive. If you also change the color of the handles, you’ll have quite different wooden windows.

Zowosan system has a string of extraordinary merits:

- higher rate of lacquer’s solid residual as compared with similar materials. Therefore, Zowosan’s lower consumption and higher spreading capacity;
- thixotropy and higher viscosity of materials for spraying. It makes possible to spray on a vertical surface 350-400 micron level of the moist material for a stroke;
- short-term technological cycle of decorating (drying time is about 1 hour, grade of drying 3;
- wider conditions of water deluting paintwork material fluctuation range (as compared with similar products); working range of relative humidity is 55..77%, bottom temperature range of processing 10 degree Celsius;
- high adhesion to the surface of the material, exceeding tensile strength of wood;
- high resistance to ultra-violet radiation and any natural phenomena. (The producer guarantees preservation of colour and protective qualities for 5 years in any climate on conditions that the technology of covering is observed);
- unique ability of maintenance and restoration of the thickness of the dry coat of paintwork material.

Is it possible to paint the wooden window one color inside and white color outside, so that it looks as all the others?

It’s what the most part of our clients does. Firstly, wooden windows of different colors spoil the architecture of the building, and secondly, there’s no need to attract attention to your apartment. And inside you can give way to your imagination!
